Our Identity

Apeiron 8783 is a FIRST Robotics Competition team founded in 2021 at Yeni Yol High School in Turkey. We are a fully student-led organization operating under the guidance of dedicated mentors and supported by a growing network of industry sponsors.

The name "Apeiron" is derived from ancient Greek philosophy — it means the infinite, the boundless, the limitless. It was the concept used by the philosopher Anaximander to describe the fundamental principle underlying all things. We chose this name because we believe the same about human potential: it is boundless when properly nurtured.

"We didn't start this team to win trophies. We started it to prove something — that young people in Turkey can engineer world-class robots, inspire their communities, and compete with the best teams in the world. That's what Apeiron means." — Team Founders, Apeiron 8783
